Views8See moreBelieving that the organization form of work and the quantity of time given to the assistance work in the hospital can become a cause of violence that affects workers' and usuaries' life, this article analyzed the workers' perception about the time they have for their activities and the violence demonstration in the context of emergency and urgency work of a public hospital of Mato Grosso. It's a qualitative research done close to the members of the nursing staff, with data collected through participative observation and interviews. The data thematically analyzed revealed that the insufficient time makes part of the violence genesis at the nursing work and it is characterized as: classical, structural, repressive and alienation violence.

Views9See moreThe objective of this article was to analyze some cultural aspects of women who have experienced normal deliveries at hospitals of the National Health System. It is a qualitative research, and its theoretic-methodological reference was the Theory of Social Representation. For data collection ten women who had normal childbirth were interviewed. As a result, we could notice that many of the aspects that they had experienced were mostly associated to an institutional culture that revealed a treatment based on violence, and disrespect to the principles of the Birth Humanization Program created by the Brazilian Health Ministry. We concluded that there are still a lot of investments to be done to improve the quality of the assistance given to labor deliveries at the studied hospitals.

Views10See moreThe study aimed at analyzing the data of violence and mistreatments against the aged through the official documentation of an institution in the city of Fortaleza-CE. A documentary, retrospective study was carried out in an institution of reference of the State of the Ceará, officialized in denunciations of violence against the aged. Of 424 documents, in 284 (67%) the aged were abandoned. In relation to the aggressors, 207(49%) were children of the victims. Amongst the types of violent are of mistreatments distributed between the recklessness, 161(38%), the misappropriation of the retirement, 114(27%), the verbal aggression, 79(19%) and the physics with, 68(16%). It was verified the importance of services directed toward this question, however it becomes basic that public politics focus the social paper of the aged one and privilege the care and the protection of this population parcel in its families and the institutions.

Quince adolescentes que estaban en el puerpério participaron, en una maternidad pública. El instrumento de recolección de datos utilizado fué la entrevista semi-estructurada. Para el análisis de datos fue utilizado el abordaje cualitativo. Los resultados indican que los adolescentes vivieron una relación buena, pero cuando ellos revelaran el embarazo sufriran actos violentos por parte de los padres y ese diálogo sobre la sexualidad y el anticoncepcionismo todavía está distante entre los padres y niños.
