Objectives:
to describe the process of developing and validating a serial album on prenatal care aimed at pregnant women and health professionals.
Methods:
participatory action research that considered technological production guided by the following stages: identification of the need for change; theoretical and documentary survey; technological proposal; analysis by experts and validation by pregnant women. The analysis by experts considered the Content Validity Index.
Results:
the Content Validity Index obtained an overall score of 0.92, and the pregnant women performed the assessment with 100% agreement between items. The serial album on prenatal care proved to be effective in qualifying prenatal care, especially with regard to promoting autonomy, critical thinking, and strengthening the professional-user bond.
Conclusions:
the serial album developed was considered valid by pregnant women and health professionals and has the potential for replication in the context of primary health care, with a view to improving the quality of prenatal care.

Methods:
convergent care research with a qualitative approach, carried out in a specialized oncology service in Vitória, Espírito Santo, from August 2023 to August 2024. The almanac was built based on the doubts of women undergoing chemotherapy treatment. After its creation, participants used and assessed the technology. An agreement rate of 80% was considered adequate.
Results:
the almanac has 47 pages, with comic strips and games such as word searches, seven differences, mazes and others. Participants assessed the educational technology as relevant, enlightening and capable of encouraging new habits, in addition to adding knowledge. All items had an agreement rate above 80%.
Conclusions:

Methods:
methodological research developed in four stages: situational assessment -interviews with 24 patients undergoing cardiac surgery in the last half of 2019; theoretical procedure - literature analysis; experimental procedure - booklet development; and analytical procedure - content and appearance validity using the Delphi technique. Descriptive statistics, Content Validity Index measurement, and Cronbach’s alpha Wilcoxon test were used for analysis.
Results:
the booklet provides guidance for all phases of surgery and home care. The Content Validity Index was 94.6%. Modifications were made to the images and text were adapted, based on judges’ suggestions.
Conclusions:
the booklet provides guidance for people undergoing cardiac surgery and their caregivers. Its content and appearance demonstrate evidence of validity for use by this target audience.

Objective:
to develop and analyze evidence of validity of telephone messages to promote medication adherence and self-care among patients with coronary artery disease.
Method:
a methodological study, conducted in three stages: I) literature review and development of messages; II) assessment of content evidence of validity by judges; III) assessment of evidence of validity based on response processes by patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. The Content Validity Ratio was calculated to analyze evidence of validity.
Results:
twenty-nine telephone messages related to barriers to medication adherence and self-care were developed, which were assessed by 23 judges and 31 patients, observing adequate values of the Content Validity Ratio.
Conclusion:
the messages were developed and achieved adequate evidence of validity, and may be an educational tool for this population.

Objectives:
to develop and validate an educational booklet on prematurity for pregnant women, postpartum women, and family members.
Methods:
a methodological study developed in three stages: preparation of the educational booklet itself; content validation by nurse judges in two stages using a Content Validity Index higher than 0.80 and an agreement rate higher than 90%; and evaluation with the target audience using the Suitability Assessment of Materials.
Results:
the material entitled “My Premature Baby in the Neonatal ICU: a booklet for the family” was developed, addressing topics on care and interventions for premature babies and guidance for families, validated by nurse judges with a Content Validity Index of 0.98 and evaluated with 95.39% of the variables classified as “Very good” by the target audience.
Conclusions:
the booklet proved to be representative, didactic, and easy to understand, contributing to the education and health promotion of caregivers of premature babies.

Objectives:
to develop and validate a model for designing clinical simulation scenarios based on Jeffries Theory.
Methods:
qualitative, methodological study based on Pasquali’s psychometrics and Jeffries’ theory, conducted in three phases: (1) theoretical analysis and model development, including expert interviews (n = 20); (2) semantic analysis; and (3) content validation by specialists. Data were analyzed using IRAMUTEQ software. Content Validity Index (CVI) and Cronbach’s alpha were calculated.
Results:
a total of 32 professionals participated, mostly nurses with experience in simulation. Theoretical analysis and interviews led to the initial model; semantic analysis refined it; and validation produced the final version. The model showed a 94% CVI and 0.886 Cronbach’s alpha, aligning with Jeffries’ key categories: Context, Background, Design, Simulated Experience, Facilitator, Educational Strategies, Participant, and Outcomes.
Final Considerations:
the model was validated, being recommended as a structured and scientifically grounded basis for designing clinical simulation scenarios.

Objectives:
to understand adolescent males’ knowledge about safe sex in light of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Methods:
a qualitative study involving 18 male adolescents, aged 15 to 19 years, in a public school in Recife, Pernambuco, conducted between June and December 2019. A semi-structured instrument was used to conduct interviews, and thematic content analysis was based on the framework proposed by Bardin.
Results:
three thematic categories emerged: Adolescent Males’ Knowledge About Safe Sex; Weaknesses in Guidance on Safe Sex Within the Family Context; and School as a Privileged Space for Teaching and Learning About Safe Sex for Adolescent Males.
Final Considerations:
limitations in knowledge about safe sex have negative health repercussions, weakening family and school dialogues and compromising the understanding of risk factors that contribute to early and unprotected sexual initiation among adolescents and their partners.

Objectives:
to develop and validate the content of a multidisciplinary booklet for patients who have undergone kidney transplantation.
Methods:
this methodological study was conducted in five stages: 1) literature review; 2) identification and organization of domains; 3) content validation; 4) formatting of the booklet; and 5) evaluation by the target audience. Content validity was analyzed using the Content Validity Index (CVI) and modified Kappa. The Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was also calculated to assess relevance.
Results:
the booklet was validated after four rounds of evaluation by a panel of experts, achieving a global average of CVI = 0.98, modified Kappa = 0.97, and CVR = 0.77. The target audience evaluation reached a 99.7% agreement rate.
Conclusions:
the developed booklet demonstrated evidence of content validity, being clear, engaging, and informative, making it suitable for use by both professionals and the target audience.
